WebJan 31, 2024 · Posted July 1, 2024. I finally got down to fixing this watch. I disassembled it completely, cleaned and oiled it. Put a new battery in and nothing happened. Took the balance off, inspected it under my microscope. Tested coil for continuity. Cleaned and polished the contact spring. Put it back together. WebAug 1, 2024 · Apparently, according to Timex customer service, at 30 meter water resistant watch cannot go in the water. It can handle light rain and washing your hands. Thanks for real transparent marketing. I have been through two of these now - both broken within one wear in the ocean (not even a meter submerged). Complete trash.
