Sketchup material not changing
Webb19 feb. 2011 · It is version 1.48.66 so that should not be the problem. The V-ray materials are showing in the sketchup material editor. I am having more problems with V-ray at the moment. Now Sketchup crashes if I try to render a model that has been closed down and then reloaded. So I decided to try and reinstall V-ray.. but now the installation crashes. Webb15 maj 2024 · You could always double click an existing material and edit it in an external editor. There, you can use whatever your preferred tools are to change the hue, contrast, or saturation. Finally, you need to save as a new image, and then import it into SketchUp. You now have a new material sitting in your color window. Not quite as simple.

Webb24 sep. 2024 · The self-made templates from version 2024 should be automatically copied into C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2024\Resources\en-US\Templates. If this did not happen automatically, you can do this manually yourself. Then you can choose the template via Window > Preferences > Templates as the template you want to start with. For whatever reason after purging the model so I could upload it to the forum I am now able to change the material.
