After applying the XDA Radio Hack to enable stock wifi hotspot app. Connected phone to Mac laptop with USB, turn on Wifi Hotspot and USB Tethering (this opens the necessary ports on phone). Connected PS3 to Droid's wifi signal and got Nat Type 2.
