WebA lot of people suggest going through Vault of Glass as a first raid, but if it was my first raid in D2, I would think that all raid is the same snoozefest where you spend most of the raid just killing mobs and that's it. So yeah, I think DSC is the best raid for newbies. It's beautiful, there's great music, interesting mechanics and great loot.
